About

Learn-Make-Create was founded in 2018. Based on the principle of a practical application of learning via making. Visual arts specialist Jenny Bell has taught creative approaches to art and design making since 2007, when Jenny completed a PGCE. Creativity is an intrinsic part of art & design but is very easy to fall in to following trends, loosing a sense of play and surprise not to mention getting caught up in technique for techniques sake. Learn-Make-Create aims to provide client centred tuition, and a friendly supportive path forward.

As Course Leader of the Textile Foundation Diploma, Morley College since 2017- Jenny designs and structures learning around a holistic self reflective practice. Alongside an experimental testing process that focuses on collecting data over assumption. 'Who we are and how we think is key to helping us to create work that is unique and stands out from the rest.'

Jenny's own journey has had its twists and turns, starting off in the Engineering school of Brighton University and ending at University of the Arts London, Camberwell School of Art (MA Visual Arts Printmaking, 2010). It was the BA Illustration & Animation Course at Kingston University that Jenny realised her passion for working with others, creative development and that drawing does get easier.

Alongside her freelance work as a Professional Screen printer (Tuckshop London, Print Club London & the former Lazarides Gallery) Jenny runs short courses for Print Club London, Eastside Education, Hackney Museum. Has taught at University of the Arts London, Chelsea School of Art & Wimbeldon School of Art, Havering College of HE & FE and Colchester Institute.
